Rotary believes in helping those who are not as fortunate as us and that thus does much for the less fortunate. Such as giving toys and clothing to children, both in the USA and Mexico as well as helping adults with blankets and other necessities.

I love the opportunity to grow in a personal and professional level, surround myself with amazing leaders, friends and professionals that have a positive influence in my life. In addition, I enjoy being part of a club that gives back to our local community but also across the border. I'm proud to be part of a club making a difference in the world our children live in.

I became a Rotarian to do community service in my town. Being a Rotarian brings you closer to your town and community you live in. I was raised to volunteer which gives me purpose in my life.
Robert CurryWhy Rotary?
Camaraderie with fellow Rotarians and participation in community service.
I joined Rotary because it gave me the opportunity to be involved with community and international projects. Making a difference in the world and service above self is a motto that I live by. Rotary allows me to not only make a difference in the world but also to share my skills, have fun, make new friends and be part of something amazing. Where else can you get all this but by being a Rotarian.
Youth Service DirectorWhy Rotary?
I can recall as a young child seeing the Rotary emblem throughout the city, but never knew exactly what Rotary was until recently. I joined Covina Rotary to be a part of the awesome service projects around my community that impact the lives of so many.
Past President 2014-15Why Rotary?
Rotary is a wonderful organization full of great people. I look forward to getting together each week and focusing on ways we can help our local communities.
Joining the Covina Rotary allows me to pay it forward, the Club holds many events that gives back to the community, the ones dear to my heart are events that help the children, I love seeing the smiles on their faces, there is nothing more fulfilling than to see a happy child.
After attending some meetings and getting to see what Rotary and Rotarians do for their communities and the world. I knew I could make a difference in others’ lives. I have always wanted to help those less fortunate and I believe that through Rotary this is possible.

My Rotary service is both fulfilling and fun. On becoming a Covina Rotarian in 1980 I loved the interchange of ideas and my learning from its mature members. Today, I enjoy the same experiences, but from its young members. For certain, Rotary moves at a faster pace now - and I’m enjoying the ride.
