To give back to the community by serving others and get to know people in our community.
Past President 2013-14Why Rotary?
I became a Rotarian to do community service in my town. Being a Rotarian brings you closer to your town and community you live in. I was raised to volunteer which gives me purpose in my life.
Youth Service DirectorWhy Rotary?
I can recall as a young child seeing the Rotary emblem throughout the city, but never knew exactly what Rotary was until recently. I joined Covina Rotary to be a part of the awesome service projects around my community that impact the lives of so many.

Camaraderie with fellow Rotarians and participation in community service.
President 2018-19Why Rotary?
Rotary allows me to serve the people of my community in ways that I cannot do by myself. Giving back to the area that you I grew up in makes it an even greater pleasure. Another great benefit is working side by side with great people that are true leaders and citizens of the community.
Past President 2017-18Why Rotary?
I joined Rotary because it gave me the opportunity to be involved with community and international projects. Making a difference in the world and service above self is a motto that I live by. Rotary allows me to not only make a difference in the world but also to share my skills, have fun, make new friends and be part of something amazing. Where else can you get all this but by being a Rotarian.
Rotary provides the opportunity to make a difference in lives of those in our local community! I have met some of the most incredible people both in the members and in those we serve.
Thomas A. Patronite
My Rotary service is both fulfilling and fun. On becoming a Covina Rotarian in 1980 I loved the interchange of ideas and my learning from its mature members. Today, I enjoy the same experiences, but from its young members. For certain, Rotary moves at a faster pace now - and I’m enjoying the ride.

Rotary believes in helping those who are not as fortunate as us and that thus does much for the less fortunate. Such as giving toys and clothing to children, both in the USA and Mexico as well as helping adults with blankets and other necessities.
